Got that right TS, less champions per division is better for boxing in my view it makes what champions there are in the division more legit.
I'm a big believer that a fighter should try and unify the titles in each division.
but my problem is this, once they do, the bodies tend to want them to fight X fighter, while another wants them to fight Y fighter.
Didn't Jermaine Taylor get stripped of part of the Middleweight title because he wouldn't fight someone? He was stripped of the WBA Super and vacated the IBF title.

Yeah he had the WBO and WBC belts still but at that point it didn't matter because Hopkins unified them all and to this day everyone knows Pavlik is the real MW champ even if he had no title belts and got stripped of everything.....its not that way with most divisions because most have not had a unified undisputed champion in a long time.
