the only thing that you can say that could be a critic of it being a foty is, it's wasn't the highest level of competition, such as a mega bout, but a fight like that, takes it into "great fights" status.

It's true the level of skill on show was not as high as other FOTY candidates. But those two guys left everything (including a few brain cells) they had in the ring.

I think I preferred Mtagwa - Lopez, was more back and forth between them. Or Williams - Martinez. I like the ones where it just keeps swinging one way and back again.

Lopez vs Mtagwa wasnt a FOTY candidate. It was only exciting in the last 2 rounds because Juanma was out on his ffeet.

Martinez vvs Williams was pretty goood, but it was more like the Sergo Martinez landing flush on Williams face Show.

Diaz vs JMM or Dunne vs Cordova are the ones!!!!

I liked Martinez vs Williams too, if there is two fighters that are primed for a trilogy it is those too. I think Martinez is the better fighter but P-Will finds a way to compensate for that through sheer physicality, stamina and will power to bring him up to par with Martinez.

Still scored it for Martinez though by two rounds.
