it's how i live my life.................... it's currency and since i've been treating it like that, i've had more of it..... and have been fortunate enough to do some good things with it.

i'm just trying to live good and work for myself and not someone else's popsicle stand, ive done that for too long.

I would take as many blood tests as they want for that money, especially if my opponent has to take the SAME tests!!!......this is a no brainer IMO

this not written by me but from another site but i cannot post the link here, i think it's not allowed. but here is the excerpt:
            ######

Why doesn’t Mayweather just stick with the three blood tests that Pacquiao is willing to give, as well as the unlimited urine testing. It seems pretty cut and dried when you think about. On the other hand, it’s hard for some boxing fans to see Pacquiao and wonder how he could walk away from $40 million over the matter of having small amounts of blood taken from him.

I know for me, I would gladly let them take blood from me if I knew I was going to get $40 million. Most people would die for that kind of money. I respect Pacquiao for standing by his principles and not giving in to Mayweather about this issue, but it’s hard for me to understand any of this from where I come from. That’s just too much money for me to walk away from based on blood testing.

I just don’t see how this can’t be corrected one way or another. Perhaps the two of them should meet down the middle, and have blood testing stop at a couple weeks before the fight. Or if they can have an outside arbitrator come in, and maybe they can be the one that makes the final decision. It just seems like neither of these two fighters are going to five in about this unless someone from outside the group makes the call on this. If they left up to me, I’d take away the blood tests entirely and just go with the urine tests. That’s what is normally done, and it should be enough for this fight

            -------

i highlighted the last part because this is what a person with no financial option and mounting financial obligations would do...unless, there are other reasons, like fear of losing something perhaps? don't know

I agree with the bold part as well......I don't mind the blood testing, but it isn't REALLY needed IMO......I honestly believe Manny is clean......and I honestly believe Floyd is NOT afraid of him......I may be wrong about one or both.......and thats what bothers me!!.....either Manny is dirty or Floyd is a afraid of a smaller man......its crazy!!

and i mean in a sense that:

If you were Manny Pacquiao would you turn down $40,000,000 because the opposing fighter wanted you to take an olympic style drug test?
let's put it this way... after just eating from a buffet, would you still accommodate wolfgang puck's, emeril lagasse's, masaharu morimoto's, mario batali's (shudder!) and bobby flay's requests for *******s just to get an invitation to their feast?

my answer would be no, if i am starving however...

Pac probably doesn't need the money, because in all actuality 40 million in the Phillipines goes a lot farther than 40 million in the United States(Especially if you have spending habits like Mayweather Jr.)

That said, 40 million dollars is still 40 million dollars. Even if he doesn't need the money, he's still 40 million dollars richer. His great, great, great granchildren would probably be set off that money.

i understand what you're saying: if manny said no, absolutely no blood test and fck that random urine test too, I would be the first to doubt him

but that is not the case...he offered 3 blood test and another one after the fight, plus random and unlimited urine tests which according to experts is more than sufficient

and the fact that he is happy with the blood test after the fight, if I was floyd, I'd take that. after all I don't think Ariza is ****** enough to let manny juice when he knows that the whole world is watching and manny's cross is already being built ready for him be nailed into in case he fails the test

sound familiar? why would pacquiao turn down 20 million because of 2 pounds?
Because Pacquiao knew that Cotto already said he is willing to fight at 145lbs, lower than that weight Cotto says he won't fight Pacquiao.

Or maybe you just pretended you didn't read the article here in BoxingScene.com?
