it would be very hard to land clean on him if you can touch his head at all.. andhe will hit very hard for his size. im sure hes very smart in the ring so any mistakes you make would be capitalized on.. you'd have to be in really good shape first of all to even hope to touch him in later rounds. youd have to be punching crisply and not pushing. he'd have to make some kind of dumb mistake.. i just dont know man.
reading the thread, to me the guys that say they would lose.. are probably the better, more experienced fighters of the bunch
Yeah, A guy who actually boxes would know that even if you are twice the size of a guy like Gonzalez, you wouldn't get far vs him if you were an average guy.
Some people on here are so ******. It's like they don't even have respect for what top fighters like Gonzalez do. It's very arrogant thinking you could KO him when you don't even box or have limited experience, just because you are bigger.
Remember guys he doesn't walk around at 106 pounds, and is likely not fighting at that weight either during the fight (cutting weight of course). So he could potentially be quite a bit larger than his weight would indicate.

If you had respectable experience in some sort of fighting discipline, and were much bigger, maybe. But you would have to walk straight into his punches and hope on overpowering him, and while the guy is small, he can definitely hit, and he would put the shots together fast, there's a good chance you move towards him, you get hit, get stunned , and then he jumps on you and starts whipping shots in all over the place.
Just saying.
I went 31-3 in the amateurs, Ive been in more than my share of street fights probably around 60-70. I workout daily, I spar at the gym weekly, and Ive sparred with professional HWs. Im 6'1" 235 with about 11% bodyfat. I still concede that in a boxing match Id probably never touch him, in a street fight its all me. From boxing and fighting I know my chin is good enough to **** with a 105lb man. Id rush him and he couldn't hit me hard enough to keep me from coming. He may break my nose, black my eye and bust my lip but eventually I'll get to him and it'll be over.

Its a good point, what if he cuts a **** load of weight and actually weighs 130 or around there? it changes things.
