I like Marquez, I think he is a class act. But the guy is coming off of a shutout loss to Floyd, where he was even knocked down. As great as Marquez is, I think he is past his prime. What will this really prove for Manny, especially if he does not beat him as convincingly as Floyd did? Hey fight somebody else, I would much rather see him fight Bradley or even a Zab Judah.

Either way; the Marquez fight is a good idea the same way the Mayeather fight was a good idea: It's a fight the fans want to see. Boxing needs as many of those as it can get.
