Calzaghe. Simply the better fighter from 2000 to 2009.

He has skills, better names, better wins etc... combined than the rest. Some have better skills, or better names, but not all combined.

E.G. Hatton has some good names and resume, but he doesn't have the skill.

Haye has the skills, but is young in terms of his resume.

The rest havent got enough achievements or names.

What legends? A controversial decision to Bernard Hopkins and a completely shot Roy Jones?

I admit that he's the best simply because he has their names on their record, but to say that he beat legend(s) is an overstatement. More like beat the image of them.

I can't respect someone who's ducked and dodged the best fighter in his division for the majority of his career and try to claim greatness by beating past their prime legends.

            But that's just me.

I see no way that this is even remotely close... it's obviously Calzaghe.

Hatton holds the best single win, over Tszyu, but Calzaghe has a multitude of great wins, that puts him far and away the top of British boxing in the 2000s.

I always consider Lewis to be a Brit. It would be him by a mile. Well...he retired in what? 2003? Then Calzaghe

Not by a mile, but I do think he would get the nod over Calzaghe.

                    Calzaghe then Hatton.

Both very good and entertaining usually.

Well I had to edit my post when I actually looked the question over a little more closely. Didnt Lewis retire in 03?
