Pacquiao vs Mayweather will Happen in the Fall of 2010

I've been enjoying my vacation on the West Coast and currently in Vegas (wow...what a fackin New Years). I've gotten a chance to shoot the **** with a lot of locals about Pac vs Floyd and its been a 50/50 split.

I finally got a chance to read over all the articles from here and ESPN concerning the lawsuit Pacqquiao issued to the Mayweathers and GBP and the only thing I can think of is what I thought prior to the fight being mentioned for March 13...Its too, too soon. A fight of this magnitude needs more than a couple months to make into a collosal event. Now that the drama has ensued and both are in talks to fight other opponents (Pac vs Foreman? Mosley vs Floyd?) I believe this is what's going to garner much more interest as the year goes by and both win their respected fights to set up a huge event in the Fall which is Boxing's supreme time of the year. So let's be patient, put Floyd vs Pac on the back burner and enjoy the new year which consists of...the NFL playoffs??? You know Floyd's already placing bets immediately following this Sunday's games.

So...Happy New Year to everyone, we got some great Boxing ahead of us, and let Floyd vs Pac marinate a little longer and by the Fall we should have a feast of the ages.

There wasn't enough time to promote this fight.

      Point blank.

That's why Boxing is a game of risk and reward. Imagine the magnitude of the fight if Floyd were to beat Mosley and Pacquiao were to beat Foreman for his 8th division title. You're telling me the fight wouldn't be bigger than if it were to happen March 13th? You'd be kidding yourself, and if people are that worried of both Pac and Floyd (who are the 2 best fighters in the world) potentially losing then maybe its not a super fight after all...don't ya think?

I'm more than positive this fight gets made for the Fall. Neither camp has stated that they're never fighting each other, just not in March.

            Floyd vs Mosley

Floyds next fight will definetly not be against the winner of Mosley-Berto unless he waits until about June at the earliest to do it. Mosley-Berto is jan 30, these guys do not fight more than once every three to four months, and unfortunatly most of them wait six months between fights. Even if Paq fights someone march 13th, and Floyd can get the winner of Mosley-Berto in the ring in June, which I dont think will happen, that would push back the Floyd-Paq fight to October AT THE EARLIEST!! More likely december. Timing is everything.
