i have no problem with stricter testing being imposed. but the premise of the stricter testing for this fight is questionable. if mayweather's camp did not release damaging statements, then they would have worked out a compromise where both sides are contented. statements they have now deleted in a desperate attempt to cover their asses.

Exactly, alot of people blamed Cotto's team because of Margarito's loaded gloves but all of a sudden, Mayweather can't assure himself of a fair match?

Is it just coincidental that he only wants a fair match when he finally gets a legitimate challenge? He wasnt worried about fairness when he took on the smaller, weaker, slower, older Marquez why is it now a big issue?

You have these "fans" that say Cotto's people were incompetent because of the whole Margarito situation saying "Cottos people didnt do their jobs", "its their job to protect Cotto" now people are also wondering who else and for how long Pac might have been on Performance enhancers. Now if there is a possibility that Margarito had plaster and Pacquiao were on something, then Cotto has suffered, financially, legacy,and psychologically because "his people did not do their jobs".

So How can we turn around and say Floyds people are being too careful? or "Floyd don't want to fight"?
Financial, legacy,and psychological damage is irreversible so what is the problem with Floyd's people making sure their guy fights a fighter that is clean?

What is the problem with making sure every boxer is clean and fighting fair?

Now Pac "fans" or pinoys can easily say because its easy: "you mad", "you a PR so you mad", "Cottard", "*****","You love Paulie", "Paulie is mad too", Floyd Sr a crackhead"...I guess its easier to say those things than to own up to the truth.

I agree, there's nothing wrong about making sure the P4P king is clean. Margarito looked like the most humble and respectful sportsman before he got caught with plastered handwraps.

If you can't be a bit skeptical of what Pacquiao has been able to do, nothing I can tell you. Add on to the fact that Pacquiao and his team have made too many lame excuses.
