Everyone saying this suit will get thrown out better remember McDonald's getting sued over spilt coffee. Don't remember the year but it was some time back when some ***** got paid for spilling hot coffee in their lap. Ever wonder why it say contents hot on the lid now and why your coffee never really burns your lips any more? Everyone listed in Paq's law suit needs to worry and take this seriously. This could really go either way and its not going to be an over night process either.
Remember McDonalds!!???

The McDonalds case wasn't that cut and dry. They lost because they purposefully made the Coffee so hot that it was almost undrinkable. The woman suffered like 3rd degree burns because of it.
Pacquiao has a good case, considering the Supreme Court has ruled there is no privilege of opinion under the First *********, when it comes to defamation. -
It was a poor analogy, I should have used the if you scream fire in a croweded theater.
Everyone here is either on one side or the other. I just don't see how anyone saying this is an open and shut case as it could go either way. It was a poor analysis I'll admit but theres just no way of knowing how this is going to turn out and its going to take along time before this case is even decided. I don't see how either side is ever going to come to the negotiating table after this.
personally I see Paq winning this law suit. No matter what any idiot on here says about freedom of speach. You just can't run your mouth any way you want and not have some form of reprecussions. When Floyd Sr made his opinion public knowledge he didn't do so in the privacy of his own home. His opinion wasn't heard just by a few friends over a couple of drinks. It was done through an interview that was broadcasted and made public throughout the world via television and internet news groups. Informing not just a few thousand but millions globally that he felt in his own opinion that Manny was using PED's. As a former boxer and as a boxing trainer his opinion can be construed as fact since he would stand to have more experiance with the performance of boxers then would the casual observer. Just because he said its his personal opinion doesn't lesson his culpability and he certainly isn't protected by freedom of speach. His opinion led to others questioning the validity of Paq's accomplishments and could impact his future earnings, awards and possible endorsements.Comment

You have a point and you may be right. However it's up to the court to decide what's admissible and what is not based on jurisdiction in the state of Nevada. There's quite a lot of speculation going around about who's right and who's wrong in this whole scandal. It was a poor analogy, I should have used the if you scream fire in a croweded theater.

In the end, we'll find out if the accusations had any merit.
And why is the PR flag flying at half mast over Tito?Comment
