Honestly, if this fight WERE to happen, it would be best for Alvarez to do it now because it would be an early loss in his career were the "green" excuse would be prevelant and easy to throw around not to mention its Floyd Mayweather JR he fought. I don't see this as a big loss for Alvarez as long as he makes a good account for himself which he can because he punches like the Sandman in S3.

As far as Floyd, the LW champ at 144 (and he wanted it at 147) and then a prospect not even ranked in the top 10 WW's. Floyd sure did come back to face the best.

Yes, he clearly tried to fight Pacman by requesting additional testing that required by the sole commission created to regulate boxing in that state which he surely isn't going to request of other fighters.
