Why do people on the boards keep saying this whenever a fighter is mentioned as a replacement for something 1/2 months away?
This is just about 2010 we have the best nutrionists, trainers and medication available. Go back to the 60's and it wasn't uncommon for greats like Ali to be fighting every 1/2 months. Go back further to Robinson's time and you'd see him fight twice a month! Both with half the technology and trainers available today.
Take Vitali Klitschko for example he fought four times in 14 months and was only held up by that B*itch David Haye and his lying negotiations. And he's nearly 40 - see how he leads by example?
Plus people keep going on about how much 'greater' Ali & Robinson and all these old boxers are......well in that case isn't there a correlation than between activity and greatness or skills?
