    Rahman vs Barrett

I looked on boxrec and they have a date set for July 23 2005 at Madison Square Garden for the interim title. If Barrett is fighting Rahman then who is Byrd going to fight?

I think it's going to be one of three men.
Wladimir Klitschko is a possibility & he would definitely guarantee a bigger & better live gate to The Garden as opposed to just Rachman vs Barrett & Byrd vs anyone else. But then, we all know how much King likes to keep the titles "in house" so he could go with option B or option C. Which would be, the winner of this Saturday night's match ups Williamson - Jefferson or Donald - Austin.

Actually King wants to get rid of Byrd and replace him with Wlad. Byrd was the one who refused $2.5 million to fight Wlad in the U.S. and $3 million to fight him in Germany. Byrd says all the time how he wants the tough fights. Well he is either a liar or a coward. Byrd will most likely fight the winner of Ruiz vs. Toney or Williamson vs. Jefferson.

Not true, but I like it none the less.

What do you guys think of this fight. I expect Rachman to steamroll over Barret like he did with the Austrailian dude in his last fight

....I give Barrett more than a good chance in this fight and I wouldn't be surprised if he took Rahman out.

its going to be a tough fight but if the real rahman shows up he should win by mid round KO

Rahman should win if the hype surrounding him is true, and Barrett is probably one of the most overrated heavyweights out there, but then again Rahman is also really overrated. Either way Barrett is clearly better than Al "Ice" Cole, so this should be a good fight.
