What that sucks Icant belive Mayorga pulled out.I thought this was going to be Alejandro Garcia's chance to be in the spotlight.I thought Garcia had a good chance of getting a KO over Mayorga.As far as Vargas vs Mayorga lol Vargas will go right throgh Mayorga.Mayorga has no chance against Vargas. Varga was going to KO Trinidad when they fought and trinidad knew it thats why he intentionaly hit Vargas on the testicles.

this would be a better fight if it was vargas of old ......but now mayorga would destroy him...trinidad should have stopped mayorga in 2 rounds with the kind of hits he was hitting him with.....mayorga will be able to handle vargas power

It could of been over sooner, but Trinidad did everyone a favor by not going to the body as much when he should of , Mayorga vs. Vargas today is a better match up than Vargas old, more competitive.

Vargas took a left hook to the head and went down from the very start of the fight, almost dancing like Zab does everyone forget that? Masyorga (as ****** as it was) took Tito's left hook flush twice and didn't go down. Who ever thinks that Vargas is ready for any top contender is lying to themselves, let go of the past guys...Vargas hasn't done **** for years now. He had issues with journey men, Mayorga will walk right through anything he brings and KO Vargas....especially with that new style of his covering up like DLH, LOL thats just asking for a power puncher to knock you out cold. To beat mayo you have to have Titos power or Spinks agility, Vargas has neither.



Mayorga signed to fight Castellejo for around 600,000K a while back, Castellejo pulled out because he said he had an injury from some Reality Tv show in Spain and could not fight until June/July. DKP told Mayorga that he was gonna fight Garcia instead for less money on may 21. Mayorga opted out because the money wasn't half of what the original offer was plus it would not be for a world title as would be a fight with Castellejo. Add the $$ factor, to the **** thats going on in nicaragua right now...and its no wonder hes not fighting, anybody watch the news its crazy with all the riots/protests burning buses going on right now.

You guys can talk all you want about his style, but to say he has no heart is ridicules...you gotta kill him in the ring and Vargas can't do it.

Mayorga is a great draw. He is an exciting fighter despite the recent loses. He is great for the sport. He is boxing's Stone Cold Steve Austin

mayorga vs. vargas would of been a great brawl fight of the year candidate before they both fought trinidad now i don't know vargas is shot and mayorga also took a bad beating . so we will have to see how he has recovered . trinidad ends careers fighters are not the same after they take a beating from him look at reid,vargas
and joppy . but if they fight i pick mayorga by k.o vargas lookd bad in his last fight his new style does not suit him well.
