Me, it's Flawless Floyd baby, AKA the Human ATM Machine," boasted Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a rare interview that took place during the holidays as negotiations for his megafight with Manny Pacquiao reached a critical stage.
Thus far, the undefeated multi-division champion has kept silent, choosing only to communicate through well-prepared press releases. However, while vacationing in Miami, a festive Mayweather called in to Shade 45 to speak with DJ Whoo Kid about everything under the sun other than Manny Pacquiao. In fact, when asked about his opinion regarding the current state of the heavyweight division, out of nowhere, Mayweather unexpectedly changed the subject, directing his attention towards Shane Mosley. On what happened to the heavyweight division...
"Floyd Mayweather came into play. That's what happened. It's okay for them boys to make a couple million, a million and a half, you know?"
On Shane Mosley...
"You got Little Shane Mosley getting like...how much...let me stop. You must realize this, Shane Mosley took steroids his whole career, he's 38-years-old, talking about he's a legend, but he's begging to fight me and I'm just coming off retirement. I made more money in one of my fights, and I ain't going to say which one, than Shane Mosley made in his whole career."
