Hatton vs Lazcano had 57,000 in attendance (Soccer configuration max 47,000) , thats pretty much a sell out at City of Manchester Stadium.
this fight does 1mil uk ppvs and attendance would be how many seats they can cram into wembley so thats 90k plus probably 100k. Think of hatton laz sold nearly 60k then the last chance to see hatton fight and first chance to see khan against a elite fighter. Throw in kell brook, kevin mitchell and nathan cleverly you have the biggest night in uk boxing history.

It would EASILY sell out Wembley, they half sell that place out for bloody division 3 playoffs, so im sure this could fill it up lmao

Football's much bigger than boxing though.

The City of Manchester Stadium is probably more realistic although that would give Hatton a mental advantahe that I'm not sure Khan would want him to have.

I could see it being a blow out for Khan if he fights the right fight. Fighters like Ricky burn out quick and can age overnight. I just think Ricky is at that point now where he could be caught out and stopped on his feet with a barrage from Amir.

Having said that if Hatton has more left than I think and could apply the kind of presure that we haven't seen Khan under it could be a long night.

I'm not sure it's a smart fight for Kahn to take though. If he wins they'll say Hatton was shot and he may lose support for beating fan favourite Hatton. If he gets sparked the doubters over his chin will have a second Christmas at his expense...

The result IMO will depend more on what Hatton has left than how much Khan has improved.

Nope..... I think Cotto and Hatton should fight, or Witter and Hatton.

for a PPV fight it costs £15 and I think the highest record for a PPV they had was over 1million PPV buys for Hatton vs Mayweather.

Do I think the fight will go ahead? yes. Do I want it too? not sure, depends on how Hatton is if he has a "tune up" fight prior to the Khan fight. If it happens, I think Khan woul KO or win on a wide UD.

They could easily sell 85,000 tickets if it was held at Wembley and would probaly do a million PPV buys.

Definatley should happen. Huge UK fight and would sell loads. I'd say Manchester is more likely but Wembley would be great to stage it.

And, ps I doubt it will stay in the from page that long but I am tired of talking about Floyd and Pac... So I am trying to bring some new discussions here. I doubt it works though
This will be a huge fight over there. If you watch the Khan vs Salita fight, you would see khan has a huge following in the UK. So much, that outta all the great fighters they have had in recent times, he is the only one over there consistently doing PPV's. What even crazier is that he does ppv's against bums and b and c class fighters. Combine his following with the insane following Hatton has and you will get the biggest fight (arguably) the UK has ever seen.
