This fight might suck, but then again expect the unexpected ONLY if it is really true that Roach won't give Yuri a limit on how much weight he can gain. Yuri's trainer is already saying that he's going to rehydrate to 160, but the contract hasn't been written yet. Cotto and DLH weren't allowed to reach their usual weight.

So I will wait and see....on the other hand...if this fight gets signed at 154, don't you think that Floyd is going to want the fight at 154 instead of 147??

there were weigh in catchweights for both fights but they could still rehydrate as much as they want to. DLH was just dumb by hardly rehydrating by fight night.

Think about it. If you watch Pac beat Yuri, at least you can say you saw history in the making.

The risk isn't worth the gain! If he wins, yes it will be another outstanding accomplishment to add to his future hall of fame resume. However, if he loses, then his stock will definitely drop. Yes, he will still be marketable and sell a butt load of PPV's, but how would that affect the inevitable Pacquiao/Mayweather Blockbuster? Well for one, Floyd might use a Pacquiao loss as reasoning to not even fight Manny anymore. Pac would lose his P4P status. Interest in this fight will go down as well. Right now this impending fight has us all drooling in anticipation. A Pacquiao loss will unquestionably hurt the current storytale build-up that has lead to right now. It's alot to risk against a pretty much no name fighter with a belt in a divison nobody really pays attention to. Is the risk really worth the reward???

how about fighting a real, superwelter like Sergio Martinez, In my eyes Pacquia has only been a real champion at superwelter beating JM Marquez , Featherweight and Welterweight and his two first weightclasses. , the rest were easy opponents.

so what if he's just a paper champion.

most of the champions out there are just paper champions.

so why not fight a REAL champion?
