Well its good to see some other people have common sense. Ruiz isn`t world class, Toney is, regardless of the natural weight difference. You notice all the closet Ruiz fans emerging from the wood work as the fight nears.
My faith in Toney has been proved. I wagered ALL my weeks wages on Toney to win! $80 doesn`t sound allot but as a poor university student its a life line. Thats how much i believe Toney is beat up huggy bear!

Agreed, but Toney is different to Ruiz`s previous opponents. In Holyfield he fought a shot fighter who`s job was made much harder because of Ruiz`s style. Evander showed Vs Rahman that if the opponent fights properly, Evander could compete. Because Ruiz has no style, no technique Evander was at a loss as what to do with him, plus his speed and reflexes had diminished so much so that he couldn`t counter the crap lunges.
Kirk Johnson essentially had Ruiz beat on points but for some reason elected to fight a Andrew Golota style fight and get DQ`ed.
Roy Jones did what people thought would happen much sooner, clean Ruiz`s clock, but Rahman was mauled. I think the Rock was just can`t fight on the inside well and Ruiz used his style to expose this weakness.
Fres Oquendo....i don`t know about that one, maybe Fres is just no good!
But Andrew Golota beat Ruiz in a close but conclusive fight. Don King and his merry judges made sure Ruiz kept the title.
Ruiz has been very luckly. He was perfected his style to make himself very differcult to beat but the one exceptional challenger that fought him ( Roy Jones ) whipped him! I don`t think Toney is as good as Jones but i do feel his style and ability will allow him to dominate. Toney knows what Ruiz will do and i think Toney would have trained for it. It is imaginable that Toney will counter Ruiz and hard whenever he tries his loser tactics.

Well, i know allot of fans on this forum have long been claiming Ruiz was going to win this fight. I too though he`d have a chance but my friend mailed me today and said his boss watched Toney spar and described him as breath taking. He is like an animal and i am saking allot of cash on Toney this weekend. i originally thought Toney W12, now.....i think Toney wil probably stop him in a one sided mis match!
