Exactly. If JMM brawls with him, it would be incredible.

I see a similar fight to the JMM vs Diaz with the same result

IMO I feel it would look like Ward vs Gatti 1.

The weaknesses that Ward exposed of Gatti, JMM will expose as well because JMM is alot more rounded than Ward and his body attack is good. The thing is I believe JMM would put Gatti away in 7-9.
Gatti would war like the true warrior he was but JMM would be just too much.
          RIP ARTURO

JMM would win by UD, but JMM could also stop him by cuts... Either way JMM wins this.

No JMM does not get stop at 130, to much toughness, too much heart... he might get drop, he might get hurt, he will bleed, but he will not get stop... unless there is a crazy cut that the ref would stop the fight.

Gatti and Marquez at 130 would have the same fight time weight so size would not be an issue.

It may look like a little bit like the Diaz fight but with Gatti having more pop though less "bullying" tactics. So I see Gatti putting Marquez down but Marquez would have more room to operate and adjust. JMM would prevail via late round knockout.

                  Grueling and exciting fight overall.

It's a pity though that it took a "Pacquiao obsession" to make JMM move up, take more risks and take command of his career instead of staying at 126 for a very long time and putting too much belief on Nacho's managing "skills". One of those "coulda/shoulda/woulda" type scenarios.

Imagine JMM undergoing plyometrics/advanced weight training at 25 and slowly moving up in weight to his early thirties instead of the pseudo-science crap that he is cramming now at 37.
