The Pacman and Mayweather camps are reviewing a proposal they have come up with on how to deal with this drug testing thing.

The tone was positive and was told to me by somebody directly involved in the talks. As he said, they are "inching" along.

I think both parties that are actually involved in the negotiations (not on vacation) are trying very hard to get this resolved, so it can happen in March.

Fight's on March 13. Training camp shoudl be at least 8 weeks. Plus the Promotion of the fight and more. It needs to be signed by tomorrow.

Is going to be too late... they won't have enough time to promote such a big event... and, this is a great hype job they got going right now... but this type of even you would want to promote world wide... you would want to do a would tour for this fight.

I think both parties are either having a laugh at the public stunt to hype the fight so the drama will be the talk among the sporting community during the new years eve hence spreading even more the word and hyping the fight.

OR the other scenario.

Top Rank and GBP pissed and doing what they were supposed to do in the first place and get everything done, and they will because they just cant afford to get this opportunity to make big money and cement there companies are the promoters of boxings biggest fight ever.

I lean more to the first one.

Very valid point taken. But then again the world tour would be light since both fighters are very well known and established. The power house of having Top Rank GBP and HBO would basically pull all the strings since they already have them on tap.
