he might not look as fast or as strong. He might even be more fatigued than usual or lack endurance.
I don't think oscar is on anything, but for example...he looked noticeably different against floyd then he looked against forbes and even more noticeably different against pacquiao.
So yeah....manny without roids will look noticeably different!Comment

ain't nothing gray about taking a blood test....if u clean take the test!pti on espn is saying this a hype job... You have boxing sites that will side with one side over the other... Boxingscene for example lyle fitzsimmons will always side towards floyd. Floyd can't do no wrong in his eyes. If you look at i think is manuel or miguel perez article who is a pac hater. He will bash pac no matter what. But, if you read scoop stuff you would know he is a floyd hater and that he is siding with pac. And, scoop has had his job for awhile. So you must know a lot of fans are reading his ****. You have boxingscene own cliff rold and jake donovan who are more neutral.
You just have to look what you reading, who wrote it, and what agenda is there behind it bro... You falling into the hype, don't believe the hype... A lot of you guys are trying to make this black and white. Is not all black and white there is shades of gray. You need to kind of read between the lines and look at both sides of the argument. Look at both point of views.
But, if you want to be simple minded and just look at it one way. And, run with it then so be it bro. That is you... So enjoy your day, enjoy your new years bro...Comment

And, was Pac using at lower weights too... Because, he never looked fatigue there, he always looked like he had great stamina?Comment

Look Dude, what have we been witness to the past 10-20-30 years in sports??? Steroid abuse, cheating, cover ups, and convictions. There is nothing unreasonable about asking Pacquiao to submit to a better more efficient steroid test. After watching A Rod, Bonds, McGwire, Sosa, Jones, you name it, failing to submit to a random blood test for any athlete is bull****. I dont see boxers as being no different. If the Nevada commission has only done urine testing for the past 40 years then its time to upgrade.PTI on ESPN is saying this a hype job... you have boxing sites that will side with one side over the other... You cats are so concerned with the fact that its Mayweather asking that you throw a hissy fit. So what its Floyd, what he is requesting is just and Pac has no moral high ground on this issue. When athletes refuse to submit to random drug testing it historically has only meant one thing. They are juicing and dont want to get caught. I dont blame Floyd at all for asking a guy who has come up in weight KO'ing bigger men, world class fighters, and walking through punches like its nothing.
So since Pac is Mr. P4P, best in the world, the top dog, then prove it by taking the random BLOOD test. Proving you are clean comes with the territory in sports. If Pac breaks the homerun record then prove you clean. If you KO Cotto like it aint nothing then prove you clean. Piss is obviously not enough, athletes in all sports have already shown they can beat a piss analysis. Some can even beat a scheduled blood analysis. But Random is f-ckin them up apparently.Comment

I have said this plenty of times I have no problem with the random blood test. That is fine. That should be a must in boxing. And, I feel is a good Floyd brought this up. And, if it becomes mandatory we all as boxing should thank Floyd. We as boxing fans should want random blood testing in boxing.Look Dude, what have we been witness to the past 10-20-30 years in sports??? Steroid abuse, cheating, cover ups, and convictions. My problem with all this is what if it does not become mandatory? That is my issue. I am looking at the big picture and everybody else is just looking at this fight. Basically this could turn out in just singling out Pac and questioning him when he has no link towards any steroids.
Lets say he takes all the random blood test and comes out clean. OK, play along with me here. So he comes out clean and then we as a boxing fans never ever see random blood testing again in boxing. How was that fair to Pac? If that happens boxing fans were really prejudice towards Pac. Because, basically we singled him out. We asked him to do something that we probably won't ask nobody else to do ever again. And, IMO that is unfair.
Now if I could get some kind of guarantee that random blood testing will become mandatory, even if it is only for like title fights, but if in the future it becomes a must. And, we see random blood testing. Then yes Pac should take test. But, I just me personally do not want to single him out.
And, I think people and hardcore fans basically should look at it that way. Because, when it comes to boxing we are smarter than the casual fans, we are smarter than ESPN. So we should also realize how this could turn out be unfair. And, we just stop we this whole flame war we got going around here. And, look at both sides. Same thing goes got the Pac fans. They should see that Floyd did is not that bad. And, if it can become mandatory it would be actually a great thing for the sport.
And, for the record what Pac is doing. Is nothing new. Throughout history plenty of fighters moved up in weight and KO'd bigger fighters walk through punches from bigger fighters. So I don't understand how fans are so shocked that Pac took Cotto best punch and stopped. When really that kind of stuff has been going out through out history. I mean what Pac is doing Jimmy McClarnin did. And, McClarnin did it in a more impressive fashion. And, I doubt they had steroids, HGH, or EPO 80, 90 years ago.Last edited by jrosales13; 12-30-2009, 04:44 PM.Comment
