with 20-20 hindisght vision probably Morales over Pac, but at the time Barerra's win over Hamed was ****ing HUGE.
Whose win was more impressive: Barrera beating Hamed or Morales beating Pacquiao

I think both were very good wins for Morales and Barrera.
Morales was past his best and being the last fighter to beat Pacquiao makes his resume look better, seeing what Pacquiao has gone to accomplish.
Barrera outboxed and roughed up the man at featherweight in his first fight there, and was a big underdog as well. He also showed the much more patient, less all out style that he used in his latter years.
Having said all that, I enjoyed Barrera outboxing and driving Hamed's face into the ring post more

'Today" considering what pacman has turned around and accomplished, I'd say El Terribles.
But IMO at the time, for MAB to out class someone that was of that caliber so easily was huge.Comment

even though i think dont think too highly of manny i say the pacquiao fight..pacquiao was IN more his prime than naz was in his...[i think the marquez fight just last year shows that manny is HIGHLY overated and not that different from the version that got destroyed by Erik] i dunno if it was mentally or whatever but thats what ive kept hearing about the prince..is that naz was getting past it or whatever..i dunno how true is that..cause naz was still knocking people out right before the barrera fight...Comment

I agree. Barrera clearly won, but it seems that way because IMO Barrera won most of his rounds clearly, whereas the rounds Hamed won were much closer.
I gave Barrera nine rounds if I remember correctly.Comment

i had to pick barerra over hamed, because, barerra was a big underdog and everyone thought it was going to be a blowout, while barerra went in there and basically retired hamed................ never to be seen again as a player in the sport...........Comment
