Katsidis is tailor made for Marquez. He would get countered alllllll day! Cant blame the guy for trying though. JMM by KO for sure. I do like the suggestion of him going after Valero for that other lightweight belt though. That is a must happen fight! Winner gets JMM and in turn, another loss on there record ha haComment

Marquez really does need to either defend the belt or just give it up. Katisidis isn't on his level though.Comment

Fellas, fellas! It's clear that Katsidis isn't on Marquez's level (yet), but you can't deny that he's been trying hard throughout his career - he's fought in Australia, the UK, the Philippines and the USA. Yes, he lost to Casamayor and Diaz in a consecutive pair of wars, but he's been forging through ever since and has IMO earned his title shot by fighting whoever they put in front of him. No cherry-picking - just going through the ranks to get to the top.
If he's not "worthy" of fighting Marquez, then the latter is also not worthy of holding a belt that he has no intention of defending. His career is already made - he's a legend, a P4P-rated superstar, and doesn't need belts at this stage. Katsidis, on the other hand, is only just entering his peak and does indeed need a championship to further his career and hit the big time. As boxing fans, I'm sure you can all understand that.Comment

i agree with The Executioner about him fighting anyone. the guy is always in an exciting fight. if he had a better chin he would of probably beat Cas. i think this would be a good match-up but would take JMM over Katsidis. would love to see the upset though.Comment

I have no problem with Katisidis wanting his title shot which he has earned. JMM needs to **** or get off the pot.Fellas, fellas!
