Pancho Villa was great and could have done greater but died too soon, IMO, Pacquiao (provided he is clean) has surpassed him already.

Pancho Villa beat Jimmy Wilde and did great things, Flash Elorde also up there. Cerefino Garcia was also a great MW. But as long nothing PROVES otherwise than mere speculation than Pacquaio is the greatest.

flash elorde and ceferino garcia were very good but not special.

pancho villa was special but he died at the age manny was when he first came to the u.s. if he fought 'til he was in his late 20's or early 30's who knows? he had like 80 wins before he died and he was in his early 20's.

Villa has the same problem as Salvador Sanchez died at 23 before his time. Garcia when he retired had over a 100 wins, helped revolutionize the sport with the bolo punch(many say he both invented it and popularize it), beat both pacho and lee, and was the man who stopped Henry Armstrong from being a class champ- i put him up there. Flash to some was the greatest pinoy fighter but i can't see him higher than Pancho even thogh the HOF commitee put him there fast. Flash did beat some good japanese champions and also beat Gomes twice, him falling short against Ortiz did hurt his legacy a little, but i think he is definitely among the top pinoy fighters.
