You have idiotic guidos like paulie malignaggi say ****** **** like whoa how can he take that punch but i cant? As if all fighters have the same chin & pain tolerance.
Barbados Joe Walcott (the original) was a 5' 2 welterweight fighting guys with 50 plus pound advantage over him.
They act like Pacquiao is the first short guy with that type of height & reach to fight for a welterweight crown.
Duran who won titles from 135 to 160 is basically the same height & reach as pacquiao.....
So was Jimmy Mclarnin 126-147...
So was Barney Ross 126-147....
Even Ray Robinson was a golden glove featherweight & lightweight title.
But since these momos grew up in crappy rap music, crappy mtv, & mike tyson they wouldnt know none of these things.
edit: Earlier I mentioned that Langford didn't have a shot until Jack Johnson. But, I forgot that he did fight Barbados Joe Walcott for the WW title. It was a draw but by all accounts and reports Langford should of gotten the decision.Comment

I don't know if this was true but I read somewhere that Walcott neck size was the same neck size of Mike Tyson. And, I find that crazy for a guy who is only 5'2. It said he had really broad shoulders and was real stocky. But, if that neck size is true. Then that is insane. He must of have been taking some serious HGH.... LOL...
