Straight up jealousy. You know what Pacquiao did to him? He took away Mayweather's legacy. All these years Floyd talks about being undefeated and being the best, so obsessed about justifying his self worth. Then you have this little asian dude from out of nowhere that completely BLOWS his accomplishments out of water. Father and son were in denial.
So what happens next? Put it out there that Pac's on roids to try and discredit the man. Floyd's trying to do to Pacquiao what Pacquiao did to him and that's to take away his legacy and his name. and lo and behold, people gobbled it up no problem. That easy.
