It is evidence that the mega fight is still alive. Both Mayweather and Pacquiao are looking for soft touches until the mega fight is constructed for a later date. Everyone's complaining May and Pac have a lot of nerve taking on bull**** opponents. It's shocking everyone doesn't realize this is good news as it means their actual intentions are the desired Mega bout down the road. Please Boxingscene don't be so completely naive/clueless. Personally if the fight gets pushed back it wouldn't be so bad cause this thing is so big it could use some time to grow.

Time to grow? Every single media outlet is already talking about it, it needs no more growing. Especially with garbage fights like Malignaggi/Hatton. -
Megabouts can build for years. By the time audiences were granted Leonard/Hagler, fans were literally ****ting their pants with anticipation. A few more months of **** talking and media buildup combined with blowout performances over Malignaggi and Hatton would give casual fans and completely non boxing fans a chance to catch up. It's the difference between getting 70% of potential buyers and 99%. You could put this fight on tomorrow and it would be the biggest PPV since Mayweather/DLH but it can be even bigger.Comment
