Howcome Al Haymon is not asking Shane to be randomly blood tested against Berto ?

So it's all assumption and speculation which is isn't fair. How much does it cost a 5 random blood test in a month span costs? I don't think it's too expensive for a championship fight.Last edited by Larrysbird; 12-29-2009, 11:57 PM.Comment

I cannot really say how much, but such a scheme requires a lot of people and a lot of travelling and together with the use of state-of-the-art laboratories you just know that the bill is fairly big. I guess we're talking 6 figures.Comment

Maybe berto and his promoter aren't concerned with Shane Mosley and is EPO use...
what does berto have to do with Mayweather?...just because they have the same manager?...Comment

So we're not sure about the figures. The only thing i knew about Olympics Testing is because Olympic sports are subject to year-round, no-notice testing. So meaning that would costs much compared to a month long testing.Comment

You basically outed yourself. What did Haymon/Ellerbe/GBP stated as to why they want to push forward with all this extra-testing ?Comment

I am going to explain it to you slow so that you will understand. GBP/Haymon made it clear that the USADA drug testing protocol is needed in the Mayweather/Pacquiao fight to ensure the integrity of the fighters vis a vis possible PED use.
They further say that it is important to the sport to do so.
So why would they not do it to Mosely/Berto to set an example and make sure that these fighters are clean. Given the history of Mosely especially.
Makes you wonder, are they trying to protect Mosley or are they just paying lip service. Are they confident that NSAC drug test is enough? If it is, why is it not enough for Gayweather and Pacquaio?Comment
