actually floyd won't make history in this fight either. he's beaten up blown up featherweights before.

it'll be a chance for floyd to beat someone who has made history though.

Floyd making history is if he goes up and destory chad dawson then he has a history that will make him great. lol

it may not have been 14days prior to the bout as 1st reported but 24 days is still inside the 30 day cut off.

In everyone's mind even boxers are saying wait a minute, Pacquiao is taking some kind of enhancement. To prove everyone wrong he needs to take the test. In America you are GUILTY as HELL until proven INNOCENT. If PACQUIAO is clean NO NEED to worry....just punish him when he gets in the ring, PERIOD!
One country does not constitute a world wide boxing community.

How about, the accusers in this fiasco actually prove he needs to take extra testing by providing some solid, concrete facts to support their claims of PED use?

        Mere speculation doesn't cut it.

The governing bodies worldwide have tested Manny Pacquiao many a time and hes come clean.

These same governing bodies have found other boxers to not be clean.

Why the need for extra testing again?

So you really think that MP's 50 plus fights & 30 plus ko's / tko's is not fair at all because he is using some kind of illegal drugs during those fights? Is that the reason why MP should take this GBP?USADA RANDOM BLOOD for this fight to make it FAIR?

the blood drawn during the pacquiao-hatton period was drawn once, yes within the 30 days, but still only drawn once. the USADA random tests would be drawn at random, on multiple occassions within the 30 day limit. i think i've read that pacquiao would agree to the blood test within the 30 day limit as long as it were not so close to the fight. roach on the other hand did not want pacquiao giving blood within 30 days of his training camp.

¿What happened to not less than 30 days before the fight?

Pacquiao has been saying that he won't take a blood test less than 30 days before a fight because it will weaken him, yet he took this blood test 24 days before the fight and he annihilated Hatton in 2(after knocking Hatton down twice in 1)...And most likely the reason he took this test is because it wasn't random, the date was already set...Yet Pacquiao has been saying no to random blood test and his past history has made him look wrong to every excuse he's tried to use to avoid this type of prefight drug test...

pacquiao said he doesn't want it too close to the fight. within 30 days, yes. and 24 days is not too close to the fight. the night before or of the fight, if chosen at random, is too close to the fight.

agreed. manny has nothing to prove. i say for our the fights sake, just take the tests. but the man has every right to his opinion and preference. he remains innocent till proven otherwise. To reiterate:

You guys are morons if you think the 30 days has anything to do with him feeling weakened.

He said he couldn't have it within a few days of the fight because of that.

The 30 days was just to stand his ground and not let Mayweather tell him what to do.

Hell, they're not even agreeing to do the 30 days anymore, they're only going to do what the NSAC requires.

as a medical professional, i've seen what accidents could possibly happen during a routine blood test. it is not pretty. sure, the likelihood is small, but multiple tests increase the chances. you don't know if the man has a reaction to the tests. who would want the possibility of an accident so close to the fight, moron?
