All True boxing fans remember the infamous moment when Luis Resto was caught red handed by Billy Collins dad and trainer. With all this talk about PEDS and Loaded Gloves will there ever be a moment when someone will be exposed like Resto and we get the Perry mason moment?
I think the whole opera has done alot of damage to the sport even if the allegations are unproven which they i havent. How can people think this is just a marketing ploy? It can turn off the casual fans to the sport.
Do you think the NSAC tests will find anything? Sure urine tests are good as finding masking agents as blood; but remember chavez jr was caught with diuretics that were banned due to its usage of eliminating steroids out of the system quicker.
I am dissapointed on both sides for not coming out with a deal, they agreed on the gloves, date, purse, weight and drug testing is what holds it up. Both sides agree on testing-it comes down to the dates and if they are random. PBF should okay the deal with just one clause. Okay one blood test during the conference, one after the fight, and just ONE random blood test between Jan 28- February 28, it would be hard for pac to cycle off when a 30 day window for testing is open. In addition, to cycle off like 3 times in 60days is preposterous with possible side effects. If PBF is so confident that its easy and the possibility of a guy messing up his adrenal system by going on and off ped's in a short time, it should a no brainer to sign that deal.
