Look here about half way through the vid in the second round of Mosley/Forrest where Shane gets drop is seriously hurt, on the *****est street in the world but Smoger let it go. He got beaten from pillar to post in that round after the kd and I think most refs would have stopped it.

Nah. SSM was an ubeaten P4P type champ at the time. I think most guys who arent inept, wouldve given him that respect, e****ally consdering he had never really been hurt before. You atleast have to give him the rest of that round and see how he bounces back. I dont think it was that bad

I think what is taking place in the ring and how bad a man is hurt grossly outweighs some make believe title and us giving him special consideration because he holds this title on the sole basis that enough ppl think he does.

You dont think that matters? It may not matter to some clown refs but most take it into consideration. If Floyd gets hurt bad against Pac then most refs will give him the benefit of doubt since he's unbeaten, a P4P #1 guy, has a good chin, good defense, and hasnt took much punishment in his career. They will be hesitant to stop a fight on him way more than they would a nobody who has a history of taking punishment or a guy with no history at all

It doesn't matter, its all even when that bell rings.....anyone can get hurt bad no matter if they are unbeaten and considered p4p whatever.

Nope...99% of the refs would have let it continue on

I disagree. In every sport certain guys carry more weight than others. Its no different than NBA stars getting all the calls. Aint no ref going to jump in and stop a fight against Floyd like he is Jo Smo. Again, you do have some foolish refs but most guys definatly take that into account. Its the same for Pac. A ref aint going to stop it on Pac as quick as he would most guys

It depends on the situation, but if someone stopped that fight towards the end of the round when Shane was falling all over the place I would not have considered it a quick stoppage.
