love miguel cotto, hated camacho. that being said, camacho has a greater overall body of work than miguel. and beats him handily at 140 cotto not experienced enough when he fought there, a bit closer at 147, but still give camacho the nod. hector was a special talent a bit too flashy for my taste, but one hell of a boxer.
Camacho won titles in 7 different weight classes-sure some are paper titles but to fight in all of those classes and never get KTFO in over 80 fights is something to be proud of.
His first loss was a joke as he lost one point for refusing to touch gloves in the final RD which would have given him atleast a draw in the first Haugen fight. His only major losses were to Chavez the best latin fighter of that era and Trinidad in which he fought in his 4th weight class.
I don't count his wins over Leonard or Duran since both were way past their prime.
If it is the Camacho that fought before the Edwin Rosario fight. Then I say Camacho easily. But, after that fight Camacho was not the same, and the Cotto that fought before Margarito could be competitive against that version of against that version of Camacho
