i would have loved to see a third fight between the two at 135. i think at above that weight it becomes too much for marquez and the added weight puts pacman at too big an advantage. i think it was after the hatton fight and in the build up to the cotto fight that i realised that the two would never meet in the ring again.

true they may manage some sort of agreement, i.e. catchweight of 142 or maybe a LWW fight between 135-140. i think the issue of weight would mean that it just won't be a level playing field, either one fighter will be dried out or the other will be too small. if anything i think a third fight might be an anti-climax and may even tarnish what was two very good fights between the two combatants.

i think in the last few years (since the diaz fight at LW anyway) pacman has just gone onto another level. especially since he has moved up. jmm has gone the other way since he has moved up in weight, he now takes more punches than before and is coming off a humbling loss to pbf.

pacman imo should look to take on someone like malginaggi or bradley. both are fast fighters who prefer to counter and fight on the outside. both are defensively savvy and would be good practice for a pbf fight. if hes going to take on paulie imo he might as well take on bradley instead.
