I think the slim PS3 has an external power brick and the fat version is internal. I have both Xbox and PS3 it pisses me off that the old PS1-2 titles anre not compatible.??!!
at least the ps and ps 2 slim didn't give you a downgraded system. I've moved on the 360 since my ps1 & 2 days but i've heard alot about how stripped down the ps3 slim is compared to it's bulky daddy.

Half an hour load up time for the spectrum with the commodore way down at around 12 mins...
You could complete uncharted 2 by the time it takes my Consoles to load 1 game
3RL? The usual problem of the XBOX. I guess Sony owns Microsoft in material and workmanship. Some of my PlayStations died due to old age rather than expedited life.
Sell your games to ebay and trade in your console for the PS3!
MY PS1 (2 of them) and PS2 is still working. My PS3 (60gb) broke so I bought another one. (80gb)
