Yea I know they won't the scratch the PPV. And, even if they did both have such a big ego they would fight about who the main event will be.

But, I do find it interesting that both promoters are saying there fighter is fighting on March 13 no matter. Somebody is going to have to give in and fight on another date. And, I don't know which side will give in, both are side are very hard headed.

Personally i would love to see Ricky Hatton get another shot against Mayweather.
But as for Pacquiao vs Malignaggi im not interested. I would rather see Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 or the winner of Berto Mosley.

I think Pac will get the date. I could see Floyd also maybe getting it to fight Hatton on HBO or something. I do think he wants another quick fight before he fights the winner of Mosley-Berto, so thats why I think he could fight someone like Hatton on the 13th.

Agreed if Floyd vs PAC don't happen next, it's over for boxing.

And, that is exactly what my question is... If Pac gets the date and Floyd decides to take a quick fight with Hatton on the 13... How the hell would they work that out?

I wouldn't have a problem with that as long as nobody loses from now till then. As much as I want to see it now if they can win their next fights and fight in sept I think the fight will be just as big. However if one guy loses this fight loses mass appeal because it will appear that one is better than the other and the main thing selling this fight is seeing who's number one..

I agree and that is why I think both will take easy fights. But, if either lose like you said the fight will lose its appeal.

My question is could that be possible? Can both fight different fighters on the same day?

And, if so who would get MGM?

                  Who would HBO televise?

Mayweather cant fight on March 13 because that isnt his own date, That is Pacquaio's date and am sure he would fight at that date with Mayweather open to early May 2010.

Its going to be difficult to put both fights on the same day especially if thy want to do it on PPV.
