For some reason, people here are so blinded to or even delighted at the fact that the "Smear Campaign" perpetrated by Mayweather Sr. is just a vindictive act to discredit a legitimate Champion of this sport who has worked hard to achieve fame and glory. Sr. is so jealous of Manny's upstage of his son that he has taken upon himself to "Take Down " the Fighting Pride of the Philippines. What a shame it is to know that low-class individuals like Sr. lurk in the shadows of Professional Boxing. 1. The painkillers are legal in Nevada, and he needs them to fight at 100%. It's similar to Rugby League, Rugby Union and NFL players, many of whom are forced to inject strong painkillers into their shoulder, knee etc before and after and even during every game in order to play, due to past injuries.

2.Marquez was aware Floyd was coming in at 146, and in fact it turned out the fight was a WW fight all along, however I can see why this annoyed people, and I would have rather seen the fight at 144,143 or even 140. Floyd still would have won easily, but it would have been a fairer shake for JMM.
