What's funny is that 90% of you expert Boxingscene members still thought that DESPITE having to cut weight, he would be too much for Pacquiao.

    Hindsight is 20/20.

Yup, so if Floyd beats Manny he's beating a previously KO'd Manny, and his win shouldn't be praised. /sarcasm...sorry but I think Floyd is rubbing off on you too much. There is life after a loss.

Beating a lightweight in a welterweight fight, regardless of who that fighter is, is ***** ****.

I give Floyd credit for the Corrales fight, but in all honestly, Chico was one of my favorite fighters, but hardly a great fighter. (RIP) Entertaining fighter? Yes. Great? Not IMO.

Floyd's win over Genaro Hernandez was more impressive, IMO.
Valid points, but did you think that Chico was not great, before or after Floyd beat him? Just curious...........

I'll be honest, I thought Chico was going to knock him out before they fought, and me being biased towards Chico, I still think that he wasn't 100% for that fight.

But looking back at his body of work, I do not believe Chico was a great fighter. One of my favorite fighters, easily...but IMO, not great. For the record I do think Floyd is a great fighter, though I liked him much better at lightweight.

As far as the body mass/weight issues are concerned.

I'd like to see a chart of you people's weight and size from age 16-31 (for those of you over 31)

Of course he's going to fill out and get heavier. Don't we all?

Finally, an intelligent article. Every point made here is correct. Pacquiao is the one to blame if this fight is not made. I don't always like Mayweather but I feel he is right for asking for these blood tests. I love how Pacquiao fights and feel he is a great fighter but Mayweather WILL beat him, no doubt in my mind.

Why exactly is Manny beating a ODLH and Hatton better than Mayweather doing the same thing?? Mayweather beat better versions of both fighters!!

            I'll prognosticate your reply:

" Manny started @ 106 and is a smaller guy fighting bigger men in WW division so him beating ODLH and Hatton has more significance"

Sound about right???? Yet you will use the oppostie argument to counter posters on this board claiming he is on steroids.

E.g. "Manny started his pro career @ 16 as a 106 pounder. Floyd was a 106 pounder in amatuers at the same age....so in effect their progression in terms of weight class has been identical and there is really no difference in size except for height"

All you *******s keep contradicting yourselves. You make it way too easy to punch holes in all of your arguments.

My current view: I lean towards Pac not being on PED's. I think he just dosen't want a piece of Mayweather.

Also Pac is not as small as people think he is. Wether this is due to Ped's or not i don't know. Look at the measurements in the Cotto fight. The only edge in size Cotto had was waistline. People aren't accusing Pac of being on PED's because he is small and beating bigger men. they are accusing him because he has gotten faster, stronger and more powerful from 130, 135, 140 to 147 in the space of 2 yrs. Mayweather lost power and speed moving from 135 to 147. Almost all boxers will lose something coming up in weight so quickly. Pac has gained in all areas.

Put ridiculous demands on the negotiating table so as not to let the fight happen.

Mayweathers are nothing but a disgrace to the sport of boxing. No wonder they are facing so many legal problems lolz

Floyd: A real man will face the MAN without any conditions you idiot.

Congratulations you just lost an opportunity to pay all your debts and court cases.
Dude that hypocritical since in the Cotto fight he made Cotto come two pounds below the weight limit while risking his belt, I mean come on those are just terms every fighters makes them it's the same as a rematch clause, and Mayweather may be hiding behind "it's too make boxing a cleaner sport" but the cause is still there I mean maybe afterwards the commisions will have stricter testing, at least in New York the Commision makes the fighter take urine and blood testing.

Floyd was much better at 130, 135 and 140 than he is @ 47. He was a beast at 135.

No, everyone involved including Golden Boy and Team Mayweather are to blame if this fight doesn't get made for any reason.

If they are unwilling to compromise and find a cutoff date that pleases Team Pacquiao, and satisfies the requirements for the tests, then everyone is to blame.

Remember, had they not requested these tests and let the NSAC do what they've been doing for the past 40 years, and in every one of Mayweather's fights in Las Vegas...we would have been talking strategy and fight outcome, instead of this bull****.

i bet you'l drink floyd's piss if he asked you to .

your idol mayweather is afraid of pacquiao, just live with it , we all get afraid , we all as human beings have something we're terrified of , its nothing to be ashamed of .

go ask your god floyd how come he didnt demand marquez to get randomly blood tested ? how come he didnt have the decency to make the agreed upon 144 pounds in a fight which he had every possible advantage ?

he didnt expect for manny to agree to the march 13th date, because it was so soon after the cotto beatdown. but manny shocked him by accepting and signing the contract in the blink of an eye, floyd had to go into his bag of tricks and picked out " oh hes on steroids " ..

also answer me this nuthugger, how is floyd the best in the "world" when hes not even the 2nd or 3rd or 4th best in his own weight division .

i judge greatness based on the level of opposition, your only as great as the person youre fighting. pacquiao is light years ahead of floyd, you want proof ? check the resume. . i dont hate floyd, i respect his remarkable skills and amazing defense, BUT his cherrypicking is too difficult to ignore. he looked great vs baldomir, can he look great vs mosley. he looked great vs hatton(with joe cortez' help of course) , can he look great vs cotto. look great vs williams, berto, clottey, pacquiao, hell maybe even quintana. fight somebody IN YOUR OWN DIVISION... please for once in his life , tell him risk his preety record and prove how great he really is ...

you see nuthugger... i just wrote an article better than yours, your job aint too difficult after all
Pacquiao is light years ahead of Mayweather, huh?

Well let's see if he can conclusively prove that to the world by allowing the fight to happen.

Why is no one giving floyd shyt for not demanding that Marquez be tested in the same manner after knocking out Casamayor and Diaz?
