Luis Callazo, Where does he go?

Put up a hell of an effort against Andre Berto, where in my opinion he was cheated off a fair decision.

So almost a whole year goes, has Callazo name been thrown in the mix of any meaniful fights?

very good fighter, its a shame he is going toward the trend of part time boxer.
I'm sure fiancially wise, its not by choice.

He need to drop Dong King. I believe he could be an elite fighter as well.

I agree he gave Berto all he could handle, sad inactivity could be his downfall.

I would actually liek to see Collazo fight Cotto for a comeback fight for both.

Collazo vs. Malignaggi would sell well in NY. Maybe at 144 or something. Or Collazo vs. Judah.

Collazo is a high risk, low reward fighter, so I'm not surprised people aren't lining up to fight him. I thought he beat both Hatton and Berto.

Collazo has a rep for overpricing himself. It could be Don King though.

Different promoter means he would get more fights and in the mix in the welter division. Most of Don King fighters are inactive.

I think Luis Collazo is one of the best guys in the division but being with Don King has hurt him some. It's a damn shame that he didn't capitalize on the momentum after that fight.

He fought some guy with a losing record in South Carolina and isn't even in discussions with any of the top guys. He should have been in with a Cintron or Quintana by now.
