Serious question for Rabid Pac fans on this forum....

Okay so it seems like I've upset some of you and you've been sending out "red karma". I can assure you that this upsets me to no end and I am crying right now about it and I'm sure I will not be able to sleep until my e-cool-o-meter is green again with you guys.

I'm just wondering though, which story do you accept from Pac and Roach. I'd really like to get this one straight so I know which story to believe and what we are talking about here:

-Afraid of needles but loves tattoos
    -Superstitious
-Afraid of blood drainage and being weak
-A **** you to Floyd (rage at being asked to blood test)
-Afraid that Floyd will tamper the testing/evidence somehow through a testing consparacy
    -Afraid to fight Floyd

Feel free to explain your pick.

I think it's somewhat superstitious and Top Rank not wanting GBP to push them around.

Manny isn't the most educated guy, and people in 3rd world countries tend to believe things that people in more educated countries laugh at.

I don't mean that in any disrespectful way, but you can see it on these forums - people laughing that he doesn't want his blood drawn, when he feels it weakens him. I can respect how he feels, even if I don't personally understand it.

I also chalk it up to Top Rank not wanting Golden Boy Promotions to push them around. They've already had a dispute over who had a valid contract with Manny, and a small % of all Manny's earning go to Golden Boy. I think Top Rank just wants to assert themselves over GBP also by sticking to the blood tests 30 days out, and immediately after.

I think Arum is a douchebag like most promoters, but I think he was correct that a lot of the allegations are a scheme by GBP is trying to taint Manny's image for leaving GBP for Top Rank.

This is a good point and interesting to think about actually. I mean I've certainly learned that on this FORUM Manny fans are less than the average in terms of intelligence.

Hmm, I wonder what he thinks about constantly cheating on his wife and how that would affect his luck....

Most if not all boxers have their own superstitions. They make sure everything is set up before they fight and if they miss one...it contributes to their confidence (lack of). This practice is even portrayed in movies like Rocky, (the flag shorts). It just so happens that Pacquiao has a lot of them.

Here's a list of boxers and their beliefs:

Sugar Ray Robinson used to have his cornerman douse him 3 times with water for the holy trinity before every fight. Chavez believed Rosario was putting a hex on him which is where the red bandana'd ring entrances came from. Roberto Duran also believed deeply in witchcraft.

Wouldn't you be offended if you worked hard, knocking people out, rising to the top of the P4P ladder and all of a sudden some buttsore idiot with the intelligence of a walnut claimed that you only did so because of steroids?

I would be pissed as hell, yet I can only pity the simple masses parroting a crackheads accusations as if they "knew" it all along. The saddest part is that they still provide absolutely no concrete evidence whatsoever.

If I were Manny Pacquiao I would say "**** you, Floyd Gayweather. You said you could beat me easily, but now I gotta do some unprecedented **** just to land a fight with your boring ass? GTFO I'm fighting that gay looking Italian motherfckr instead"

Just my take on the whole situation.

I think part of it is because superstitions. A big part of it is that Manny knows he isn't on anything and he's saying **** you to Floyd.
