Audley Harrison claims he`ll beat all the reigning champs!!

One of my favourite BBC boxing moments was a three-way interview session between Herbie Hide (down on his luck, dropping down to domestic level), Harrison and Danny Williams (pre-Tyson).

John Inverdale was in the middle of it all, stirring the **** big time. They played a ringside interview with Hide talking about Danny. "Whenever Danny Williams does lousy he always says he had a bad night. When's he ever had a good night?"

Cut to Danny in the studio. "I just wanna knock him out. He makes me sick." (It's rumoured that Danny KOed glass-chinned Hide in sparring and Hide was obviously backing out of a proposed match-up.)

Best bit though (sorry, this is rambling, isn't it?)

Audley on phone-in saying that Danny Williams was old and "waiting to be taken."

Danny has a smile on his face and says "Yeah... I'm waiting for you to take me, Audley."

one fighter says thier on another level...then the other.

audley doesnt like fighting...he likes hitting people.

hes gonna get a rude awakening when a skelton or a williams
starts thumping him & dont stop when he puts his hands up.

when he smiles, shakes his head & they just keep coming.

hes never gonna be ready for that.

There was one fight where Audley hit a man while he was on the canvas, and the guy got up and tried to headbutt Audley, with the ref breaking them up.

All of a sudden Audley snaps and really starts throwing leather at the guy, not caring about boxing, just plain street fighting. For a second I thought "maybe he could be a real fighter". But that was a five-second flash and I've never seen it since. He boasted about doing his first twelve-rounder, but as he was hardly moving, then what did it prove?

Still, I'd like him to prove us all wrong...

dont go there..us UK fans know weve had some great fighters & it
seems alot of american fans hate lewis for dominating the top division
they ridicule all our other fighters then make almost the same comment you did.
"well all youve had for yrs is lennox lewis and now the division has almost collapsed in on itself without him.he cant of been that good.look at these guys fighting now"

I need to see this dude fight. At one point I think that Lenox was guiding him. But he needs to step his game up. I have been hearing about him since way before Peter. But Sam is the one that is now in the forefront
