If you look at Pac and his style, it is all about speed and power. Fortunately for him, he was able to get low as 130 and recouperate and even less when he was young. Now as a 30 year old man, he has grown a little which is common.

It's not like he is a 5 foot 3 130'ber. He's a 5 foot 6 person who can made 144 and most likely 140 still.

Hopkins made 160 for 10 years but he is now at 175. Only very rare athletes and humans can drain to a low weight and fight effectively. Infact Pac has lost because beign weight drained.

Hopkins now at 175 is damn healthy.

You emphatically state that you challenge someone to disprove what these casual fans told you.

I never mentioned PPV but the other poster is right when he says their opinion matters. I emphatically stated what?...lol I challenged fans to do what I did and see what opinion they get(no agenda). I challenge the fans in here to do what I did. Simply out of curiosity I have asked a few people at work and a few associates(none of my friends because most know boxing). I asked 10 people what they felt about the whole Mayweather vs Pacquiao Drama.
1 said he didnt know anything about it.
6 said Pac is on steroids.
3 said Pac is hiding something.
I mean it is interesting when you see the perspectives of people that are not hardcore fans.
They are the majority. Not to say that their opinion does anything to the fighters or even the eventual payday they will get(because I feel eventually they will fight). But it is interesting to see what the people are thinking.
I challenge the fans in here to do what I did and discuss.

You know, you should have video taped their opinions.

There will, no doubt, be others who will video tape both hardcore fans and casual fans, and the majority's opinion is what's most important to take note of.

If Arum and Team Pacquiao were not worried about public opinion, they would not be filing law suits.

No he wasn't. He weighed in at 142 for Oscar, 143 for Cotto, and as far as I know the ring weight was approx. the same for both fights, around 148/149. In fact I remember some people on here saying he looked softer for the Cotto fight.
