I challenge the fans in here to do what I did. Simply out of curiosity I have asked a few people at work and a few associates(none of my friends because most know boxing). I asked 10 people what they felt about the whole Mayweather vs Pacquiao Drama.
1 said he didnt know anything about it.
6 said Pac is on steroids.
3 said Pac is hiding something.
I mean it is interesting when you see the perspectives of people that are not hardcore fans.
They are the majority. Not to say that their opinion does anything to the fighters or even the eventual payday they will get(because I feel eventually they will fight). But it is interesting to see what the people are thinking.
I challenge the fans in here to do what I did and discuss.Comment

I actually thought the casual fan was against Pac only to be surprised that a lot of them are tired of Floyd's arrogance. The tide is turning to Manny's side. Even Vegas has him as the favorite which I didn't think would happen. The ones in the denial faze are the Mayweather fans who think their fighter is the best. Shouting louder doesn't make more people believe you.Comment

I see everyone here has something bad to say about casual fans. Fact is, casual fans make up for 75-80% of the PPVs. So what they think does matter. The fact that Pacquiao and steroids have been in the same sentence for some time now, this isn't good at all.Comment

On another note I took a poll of myself and all 1 of me agree that the current political climate in Malaysia could easily be rectified by simply ********ically voting in a better leader.
Of course I have no idea what the political climate in Malaysia is outside of what I saw in the new Rambo movie.Comment

I think you are right. Anybody who hears that a professional athletes is unwilling to subject himself to repeated, random testing is going to think that he has something to hide. It is in our nature to think this. So, I am not surprised a casual fan would think this. What is more telling is how many diehard boxing fans, but just Pac fans in passing, are starting to put a big ? next to his name. Even if you like him, it's hard to reconcile his actions with his words, especially if you are, or were, an athlete who knows the deal.Comment

Example: Hitler was not right.
Oppression of Black Americans was not right and we can go on and on. Majority are sometimes ignorant but can do damage.Comment

At world level 2 lbs can make a difference between a win or not. 3 inches in reach, 5% in speed. Even with all this knowledge, we can never really tell how 12 rounds end up.
Maybe we can guess a winner, but not at the exact time of KO or how every 30 secs of a round will go.
That's why I'm a fan of boxing. Months of wait and analysis, and I really don't know what will happenComment

80% of PPV does not equate to knowledge my friend. It equates to moneyComment
