Will you finally consider Trinidad top 5?

We are less than three weeks from the anticipated, Trinidad vs. Wright matchup and I must say that I can't wait. Wright has seen his stock rise after beating a blown up Shane Mosley in consecutive fights. Still, I do not want to discredit Wright, who is one of the best technical boxers in the sport right now.

Trinidad needs no introduction. He is a devastating puncher who has faced and beat most of the best boxers of his era. If he beats Wright in convincing fashion, will you put him in your top five P4P list?

    hmm

Well I do not see why not. Tito is not really that much bigger than Wright so I suppose it's fair to put Tito at number 5 if he wins. I don't think a win for him is a given though. Wright is pretty damned crafty.

Trinidad really lost to DLH, and was brutally beaten by Hopkins. So badly in fact, that he ran back to Puerto Rico because the manhood was beaten out of him. He will never be a top 5 P4P fighter with that mentality!!

yeah I'd make him top 5, after Floyd and B-Hop at #1 and #2 there's a big drop-off, you could make an argument for Tito being #3 if he demolishes Winky

i think that exciterex said 5 because most of us here have hops/may/erik and marco top 4 - so yeah, hell yeah if tito beats winky in very convincing fashion then he'd have to be put at 5.

            gotcha....here's another what if:

If (and when) Floyd destroys Gatti, will he be the consensus #1 P4P???

Or do we need to wait to see how B-Hop handles Taylor to make the pick???

              hmm

We need to wait and see how Hops handles Taylor. Boxrec says the fight is on but who the hell really knows? Anyone? Also, Gatti is so much bigger than Floyd so he has a chance to KO Floyd. However, if Floyd wins it was a given and he will get limited credit for it.

If Trinidad ****s Winky up pretty good, I'll consider him one of the top P4P, depending on the outcomes of other fights like Gatti-Mayweather, Castillo-Corrales, etc.

He'd be the man at jr middle and would definitely be top 5 in my book or thereabouts. I'd be anticipating him fighting Ouma to remove any doubt that lingered.

                  Think that'd happen?

                    hmm

Personally, I cannot even think about how awesome a fight between Tito and Ouma would be. Ouma is one of my favorite fighters. He is badass stone cold.
