Floyd Mayweather Jr: Best defensive fighter of all time

What impress me most is not his shoulder roll and lightning quick reflexes to get out of harms way.. but the manner on how he avoids fighters before he even step into the ring.. dammit.. 5 years in the welterweight divison and he only has fought judah and baldomir.. his defensive skill is legendary.

        No.

Pernell Whitaker, Wilfred Benitez and Willie Pep were greater defensive fighters.

If the shoulder roll impresses you so much, watch some prime James Toney. He used to greater effect. A magnificent fighter in his prime.

Floyd is one of the best defensive fighters of all time, but certainly not the greatest.
