Shawn porter kinda reminds me of Aaron Pryor with his lack of height and because of the intensity he fights at, he also, like Pryor, seems adept at fighting from outside despite a lack of height because he can use his quickness to dart in and out, he also throws the 1 2 then follows up with the up jab like Pryor used to.
First time ive seen him (Porter)against Patterson but he looks like a tremendous prospect/fighter who is very entertaining to watch. I hope to see more from him.
Would be interesting to see him against someone like Vanes Martirosyan who would present stylistic issues with his long range Boxing/height and reach.
Vanes Martirosyan beat Andre Berto & Tim Bradley as an amateur by all accounts, that said Porter beat Demitrus Andrade and Shawn Estrada.
