Should Rigorous Drug Testing Be Mandatory For ALL Title Fights?

There have been many boxers who have, at one time or another, used performance enhancing drugs. Some have allegedly done so without knowledge of the actual crime they're committing, after taking substances provided by a trusted trainer or associate. It's also probable that a number of boxers have escaped detection due to the level of sophistication many of the designer drugs have achieved, coupled with the periodic nature of the standard drug test which often works to a rigid timescale. If a test date is known way in advance, the ingestion of the PED can often be worked around the provided schedule so as to avoid detection.

Above and beyond the Pacquiao vs Mayweather drug test standoff, just consider the sport of boxing in general. Will rigorous, thorough, higher level drug testing actually be a good move for the sport of boxing? And, if so, will one of the biggest fights in the history of the sport set an equally historic precedent that the boxing world should follow?

Do you think the current tests are adequate or should they be adapted?

No reason not to support dependable drug testing but it won't happen while there are so many different commissions, and it won't be dependable while there are so many different commissions.
