In light of the facts, I've concluded that they're doing it just to spite Team Mayweather.

They're saying "Since Floyd wants to play difficult, we'll show him we'll still fight on March 13th against a safer opponent and collect an easy payday."

To think -- All Malignaggi had to do was publicly voice his opinion about the sport and allege that Manny might be on something to gain the big fights he desired.
