Watching the Margarito vs Mosley again, makes me remember why I love Margarito!!!

You think I wanted him to lose? Hell no!It sickens me that there are fans that think this way, fans with no heart. There's nothing cool about standing in a ring getting pummelled helplessly. And these fans condemn and jeer those who know there limits and quit for their health and safety, for their lives and families.
Boxing is dangerous, no boxer should risk getting punched needlessly to appease some immature arseholes who call themselves "fans" (yes fans enjoy seeing a boxer they claim to "support" being beaten to a pulp and physically harmed). If these boxers get seriously injured or worse, these "fans" can go and find a new boxer to cheer on, but the potential consequences of showing such temerity in the ring will remain with the boxer and his family when everybody has forgotten about them.
I wanted him to win.... But to go out on his shield and not quit is showing how much heart he has....
It showed that he would try until the end....
I went to LV to watch him fight Cotto....
I am a fan whether he wins or loses...Comment

Yeah they aren't thinking about it, but they'll still feel it. You're gonna be able to fill something different after years of experience. MAYBE you don't expect him to, but you're still gonna ask.Yeah, because there was SOOOO MUUUUUCH plaster.....
It was two little strips....
Have you ever seen someone getting their hands wrapped?
They usually have headphones on, in their own world, and the last thing they are thinking about is their hands getting wrapped by someonme you trust and has been doing it for OVER 10+ years...
That's not to mention the other fights he (probably) had it in.
Never more have I wanted the Raiders to win a game next week....Comment

Nah, I'm not saying you wanted him to lose. But I hate the mentality of fans who think it's cool for a boxer to stay in the ring and take a beating rather than quit for their own safety. You think I wanted him to lose? Hell no!

It's more that I hate how boxers who do quit for their safety are ridiculed by fans. It's easy for fans to criticise, but these fans wouldn't have the balls to even step into a boxing ring. They don't consider that these boxers are men with lives, with families, and they'd rather see them putting their health at risk by taking punches when they're helpless and losing, to prove some bull**** macho image, than see that fighter show some smarts, know their limits.Comment

I will pray every night this week that God let us get in the playoffs...Yeah they aren't thinking about it, but they'll still feel it. You're gonna be able to fill something different after years of experience. MAYBE you don't expect him to, but you're still gonna ask.
