The only harm Pacquiao is doing is to his own legacy.

Pac legacy has been written in stone and it's safe to say that he'll be consider the best in our era or of all time.

Same way as Gayweather he’s legacy is also written in stone but as the greatest ducker of all time.

Please tell me how much of a Catholic he is?

From the things I read, he doesn't seem like a good Catholic at all.

      Please elaborate.

Like I said, you have to be a Pinoy to understand what I mean by fervent Catholic. Filipinos are 90% (if not higher) extremely Roman Catholic, its something that is part of our culture and if your mom/parent doesn't have a Jesus shrine in your house then you're not going to get it, sorry to sound so culturally secretive.

As for what you're "implying" I like to stay out of his family life, I'm a boxing fan.

Yeah, I follow what you're saying, but you're implying that Pacquiao is a good Catholic, right? It's my understanding that he isn't.

I understand that Filipinos are Catholic, this is because of the Spanish colonizing them for over 400 years. They forced them to convert of else they wouldn't allow them to Marry, and they did much more god-awful things to them.

God bless you, clean fighters, and good honest athletes!

Well I don't really know what you're basing your understanding on and I don't really want to get into a back and forth about how much of a Catholic he is ... there are more interesting things to debate about

What I do know that he's a God fearing Catholic, someone who has gone on record to say that his wins and losses are determined by God. He prays for the health of his opponents before the fight and prays that no one gets seriously hurt.

I know it may be silly for some people to think of a grown man praying all the time and praying that his opponents don't get hurt but that just the type of fighter he is. He's still blesses his mom's hand when he see's her and he even blesses Freddie Roach's mom's hand when they meet (cotto/pac 24/7)
That's a sign of respect and piety that makes me think Manny is good Catholic.

...but bringing up Catholicism and his religious in the first place is personal and not about boxing.

I was merely trying to point out that that facet of his personality is what makes him an honorable boxer in my eyes.

In the end *******s will grow up, mature and come to the realization we are in the era of steroids. Legitimacy as of now will always be questioned if you're doing great things like Pacquiao, even if some of what he has accomplished is arguable.

Wake up and smell the flowers people. This is what kills boxing, unneccesary issues that go BEYOND "selling" a fight.

                  Peace.
You my friend are a ***in idiot. I will never and nor will his fans ever think he took steroids. But you and Floyd can believe that because it keeps his ZERO intact. Without that ZERO you have ZERO legacy.
