It's hard to say.

He looked pretty bad against Pacquiao. I still remember how he was on the canvas, after getting knocked out. He looked really out of it.

I think he should play it safe and have one more fight against Juan Manuel Marquez. That's his best option, in my opinion.

He's no longer got the punch resistance to compete with elite prime fighters.

Hatton has been in hard fights. Long before he even went to America.

Thaxton, Magee, Tackie, Phillips, Tszyu.........

The Tszyu fight alone shaved about 3 years of his prime. Which is well over now.

Hatton was brought along too slowly and as a result just as he reached the real pinnacle he passed his physical prime.
