I'm not. Mosley called out Mayweather to his face and Floyd said, "I let Al Haymon and Leonard Ellerbe conduct my fights". This is the same Floyd who also criticized Pac for saying the same thing. Mayweather "They didn't ask Manny Pacquiao's promoter, they asked him what he wants to do as a fighter"

If you mean you like his boxing style, no, not many people are fooled by it. They find such style too boring to watch. It's basically a hit and run style much like Roy Jones'. They're too afraid to trade punches because they can't take it. You won't last with such style. (Look at Roy Jones.) Floydweather knew this. Which is why he retires and comes out of it when he knew his style would fit him.

So naa. Mayweather is not boxing. If that is boxing, I'd rather watch UFC.

Of course everyone was talking about him after he retired at the top of his game thats what happens when you do that. Everyone knew he was going to make a comeback for a big fight and we were right.

Boxing moves on fine without mayweather, all mayweather is is a superstar. But manny pacquiao has reached superstar status also.

When Mayweather retired the first time All everyone could talk about is Mayweather Mayweather Mayweather. When is Floyd coming back, Who will he fight if he does come back, will he be rusty etc. Every Thread damn near was about Mayweather or Mayweather vs Pac. Mayweather has done huge PPV numbers and he is the Cash Cow in Boxing right now. IMO Mayweather Only needs to fight Mosley, P Will, and Pac, and then he's an ATG(That would make him better than Leonard. Pac is a good guy and all but he's just hype. The part of the Boxing World that is against Floyd Mayweather is trying to Hype/Promote Pacquiao into this "New De La Hoya". MAYWEATHER IS BOXING
No offense but Mayweather is weak now days and is a personality like a WWE wrestler, that's why he gets along so well with them. He is an act and will get stomped by a legit WW now and he does not want to compromise, they chose to demand something that is insulting and knew it would be refused from the beginning.

              Mayweather and camp

If you say Sugar Ray Leonard is boxing. Now I'm all ears for it. You people should try watching reruns on Leonard. You would see non-stop exchange of powerful blows. It's way too far from what you see in any Roy Jones' or Floydweather fights. That's the mark of an all-time great. They (Leonard, et al) not only could throw powerful punches but can absorb devastating blows themselves.

Please. Don't put "I'm sorry but". In fact, read this:

Scroll down to "I'm sorry, but".

You're welcome to your opinion, but I disagree. BOXING is many things, not just one style or one person. Boxing needs it's come-forward brawlers, pure technicians, counter-punchers, boxer-punchers, and every weird, unorthodox style in between. The reason why is because we all like different aspects of the sport, just like we have differing taste in pretty much everything in life. Boxing would be less interesting without a prime Roy Jones' leaping left or some other crazy ****. It wouldn't be as interesting if Tyson hadn't bulldozed his opponents the way he did. And indeed, it wouldn't be as interesting without someone such as Floyd, a master of defense and counter-punching. That's his style, the way he wins fights, and to some people he's great because of it.

                  So what's your poison?

Me, I like fighters who can box. You prefer pure boxers? That's OK. You gotta realize that boxing does not belong to Floyd Mayweather or his fans exclusively. To be honest, that comment is kinda insulting to the sport and the fans, but whatever, it's your opinion. Boxing does not stop evolving when Mayweather retires. Let's not start acting like a bunch of *******s about it.
